Delphi consensus for liver tumour thermal ablation

Kristian Overduin co-led and organized the Delphi consensus as part of the international steering committee including Prof. Bale and Dr. Laimer (Innsbruck, AT), Prof. Odisio and Dr. Paolucci (Houston, USA) and Dr. Johnston (London, UK).

The collaboration brought together international experts to establish consensus recommendations for liver tumour thermal ablation, helping to improve consistency, standardisation, and clinical outcomes globally.

The resulting consensus statements have now been published in the Lancet Oncology and define new international standards for both procedures and margin assessment for liver tumour thermal ablation.
